You're right! The preview clip makes me want to see the complete production. Tennant brings Hamlet's lines to life, and the contemporary royal setting seems just right. Can't wait for the Bardfilm review.
Pre-ordered before the PBS production. Glad I did. Otherwise I'd be content with the online Hamlet, but having the DVD is much, much better. Waiting for Bardfilm's review. Only one observation: the ear-poisoning in the dumb play was very like the "cash-for-clunkers" method of seizing up an internal combustion engine!
