The opening sequence is one of the best things about it. Midsummer Night's Dream begins with people who are not in love (or who are not in love with the right people or in the right way or for the right reasons or . . . well, you get it); it ends with everyone happily in love. I wonder if the clip below shows what people in the audience who are not in love (or who are not in love with the right people or in the right way or for the right reasons yadda yadda yadda) feel at play's end. Perhaps Puck's final speech is meant to eliminate or dispell reactions like this:
